An NHS organisation is currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst to complete an interim assignment as part of a wider programme of work.
As the BA for the initial phase of the programme you will be responsible for reviewing the current BI reporting landscape, identifying the gaps and develop a specification of requirements by conducting a needs analysis report with internal stakeholders. This will entail reviewing the reporting currently in operation, how the reporting solutions are being used and the contractual position of the solution. This will then provide the “as is” position which in turn will be the basis to form the “to be” position or it could inform a “do nothing” position.
The key focus for this assignment is assess whether the organisation can consolidate onto a single platform and whether it is something they already have or whether they migrate to something different.
This assignment is looking for you to demonstrate your ability to engage with the stakeholders, both clinical and non-clinical, in order to obtain the necessary information to analyse and document. This is very much about detailed baselining and requirements elicitation.
This interim assignment will offer you the opportunity to build on your stakeholder engagement skills within an ever changing NHS landscape, a skill that will be sought after in the coming years across the NHS and wider Public Sector.
