Due to continued growth, my client is looking to appoint a Head of Clinical Services for their Insourced Care Division. You will join a vibrant working environment, be part of an innovative team who value their employees and offer scope for progression within the organisation.  

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for creating an environment of patient-focused and high-quality care, managing and developing work-based teams, training new staff and providing leadership to the nursing and multi-professional team;
  • Work with the other members of the Senior Management Team to develop safe and innovative clinical service models and ensure they are effectively implemented;
  • Enable, motivate and empower clinical staff to demonstrate personal and professional leadership at all levels;
  • Work effectively as a member of the organisations Executive team providing clinical leadership, prompting strong team working and ensuring that each insourcing contract is adequately supported;
  • Act as a role model, assessor and mentor to less experienced employees and participate in supervision and reflective practice within the team;
  • Oversee the recruitment, induction and retention of a capable and stable nursing and other clinical professional team;
  • Identify, promote and initiate best practice across insourcing contracts and eradicate any instances of below standard practice;
  • Promote and provide leadership for healthy, collaborative team environments;
  • Represent the organisation with external audiences and stakeholders; upholding reputation and promoting high standards of insourcing care with commissioners and hospitals to support business growth and development;
  • Responsible for end of project reports from performance KPIs, KQIs and patient outcome data.
A successful candidate will have:
  • A current registration with the NMC, ideally hold a management qualification or educated to Master’s level or equivalent;
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, including written, spoken, non-verbal and inter-personal, liaison and negotiating skills;
  • Leadership experience of multi-disciplinary teams at senior level within a healthcare setting
  • Board and ability to deliver strategic report production;
