Community Mental Health Nurse, Band 6

Are you a registered nurse or suitably qualified Allied Health Professional who is looking to enhance their career within our Bournemouth West Community Health Team based in the East of the county?

We are looking for hard-working, innovative and caring individuals who are able to provide focus and creativity to our patients especially through challenging times. As the service covers the geographical area of Bournemouth and the wider BCP Council area, the ability to drive your own vehicle is essential. You may also be expected to transport patients on occasions.

This is a busy, friendly service which provides support and on-going care for people with severe mental illness who have multiple and complex needs. We work in a responsive way to provide stability in a person’s life and help them to develop a meaningful occupation alongside managing the symptoms of their mental illness.

The successful candidates will have a proven ability to provide comprehensive assessments, formulation and specialist treatments for adults of working age with SMI.
