NHS 111/Urgent Care Commissioners

Practicus are working with a large NHS Commissioning Group in the Midlands who are seeking interim Contracts and Commissioning expertise to cover 5 to 6 month secondments.

These Inside IR35 roles will be remote working, with the potential to work onsite occaisionally as restrictions lift over the coming months:

Band 8C - Head of 111 Commissioning

This post will lead on the development of the year 6 contract, which includes securing the agreement of an Indicative Activity Plan, exploring alternative contract models and securing agreement from all 5 counties the contract covers.

Possessing prior expertise in NHS111 Commissioning and contracts, this role will utilise your experience of developing and negotiating contracts across multiple organisations.


Band 8B Head of Urgent Care

This interim post will lead on providing momentum for an established UEC transformation programme and will involve working with providers to agree and implement the model of delivery for Urgent Treatment Centres, development of the local transformation plan for other UEC national and local priorities and conducting a service review of OOH, CAS and 111 to gain a system agreement for the model of delivery of the services.

Possessing strong understanding of UEC tranformation through commissioning and the national priorities for urgent care will be vital for this role.
