About the Role

As Head of Recruitment and Resourcing you will bring energy, innovation and proactive responsibility for the management of recruitment and HR admin services for the Trust, delivering professional, efficient and timely services at all stages of the employment life cycle. With a passion for customer service, strong operational management experience in recruitment and HR admin, coupled with knowledge of employment and contract law, you will build trust and confidence across your team, empowering them to be confident and competent in progressing our outstanding services.
Highly organised and collaborative, you’ll work with key stakeholders to ensure excellent attraction, selection and candidate experiences, identifying process and system improvements, reviewing recruitment KPIs and developing resourcing solutions for the Trust. Your leadership skills will enable you to make the important operational and strategic planning decisions that will ensure you and your team deliver great recruitment and HR admin services to the Trust.
This role sits within our People and Culture Directorate which is focused on developing an ambitious People agenda making Dorset HealthCare a great place to work, with an emphasis on being an employer of choice. You’ll have the opportunity to represent the People and Culture Directorate on specific projects and will be a member of the Directorate’s Senior Management Team, contributing to development and delivery of the Trust’s overall workforce strategic objectives.
This is a full-time role with some flexibility over hours and location. The successful candidate will be expected to spend some time in the office to support the team, with opportunities to work from home or other locations as required. There will be some travel across the UK to attend recruitment events.
