Acute Site Director of Operations - Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor / Ysbyty Glan Clwyd / Ysbyty Gwynedd
This is an exciting time to join us at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. We are establishing a series of new roles which will be pivotal in building on achievements, and lead ambitious plans to make continuous improvements to the services we provide, for the people of North Wales.
In line with the ‘A Healthier Wales’ plan the Health Board is committed to delivering an increasing proportion of care and support within primary and community care services, and we are developing a digitally enabled clinical strategy and have seen rapid improvements in response to the Covid pandemic.
The Acute Site Director of Operations, is accountable for ensuring and assuring that the total business of the Hospital is managed safely, effectively, efficiently and in accordance with the strategic and operational objectives of the health board.
The successful candidate will have proven ability to manage complexity and unpredictability, to make difficult decisions and to solve problems demonstrating a systematic, analytical and resilient demeanour, with personal integrity and credibility. Ideally the successful candidate will evidence understanding of the structure and framework of the NHS Wales.
