Transformation and Programmes Director

Our innovative Trust strategy sets out our strategic ambitions and priorities for the next five years and provides a blueprint for how we will achieve our vision to be Better Every Day. We now need an accomplished and experienced change leader to oversee the transformation programme that will deliver our strategy.

Coordinating organisational and system change at a corporate level, you’ll work across all Trust directorates to lead improvement and transformation, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer to support and challenge workstream leads whilst evaluating progress against our delivery plan. You’ll also establish and lead a Project Management Office (PMO) to coordinate and drive complex transformation across our organisation.

You ‘ll be an effective and visible advocate for our transformation programme, ensuring we maintain momentum and providing expert advice on critical judgements and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.

Alongside significant experience of managing transformation programmes in a private or public sector setting at a very senior level, you’ll also have proven expertise in project management methodologies, processes and tools and be able to adopt an adaptive leadership style to deliver strategic programmes in a politically sensitive and complex environment.

Your people skills will enable you to manage, coach and develop others, recognising achievement and managing performance effectively. A sharp and insightful mind will enable you to identify and prioritise the key actions that will deliver greatest value in an organisational development context. Your communication skills will ensure that you can build rapport and confidence with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.

In return we can offer you a competitive salary package including generous annual leave entitlement and access to excellent NHS terms and conditions.
