Job Details

I'm keen to speak with Project Managers who have knowledge and experience of NHS service development, redesign or cost improvement planning for a number of Band 8A Project roles.

I'm working with a large NHS Trust in the Midlands who are looking to secure full time interim capability for the next 6 months and offer a flexible remote working environment; predominantly remote based but onsite as (rarely) needed. These roles are working within a central PMO in which you will act as a project management Business Partner; directly managing your own projects from business case, PID and implementation for one of the care groups, whilst supporting managers in the care group with project expertise as and when they need additional knowledge or support. The projects may range from clinical service expansion, clinical pathway redesign, workforce improvement projects and supporting cost improvement.

Whilst Prince2 or other formal Project Managerment certification would be benefitial, of greater importance is a successful track record of working with senior stakeholders including operational and clinical managers, to deliver a range of operational and financial improvement programmes, supporting business case development and clinical redesign. NHS Project experience is essential.

Please note we are not seeking Digital/IT Project Managers.

In addition to knowledge of the entire project lifecycle, a helpful coaching communication style and experience of delivering clinical projects is required.

Interviews will take place late July for a start date in August or early September, so please contact Lisa.Lloyd@practicus.com for more information or to apply.

Company

Our mission is to change the way people feel about recruitment.

We find, introduce and support business problem solvers. One + Many is our guiding principle. It’s a simple way of defining how we work and deliver better – as a business and as individuals. We recruit, gain insights and share knowledge as a community. It’s how we demonstrate value to our clients. It’s how we attract great candidates. It’s how all of us come together to have an impact that’s greater than the sum of our parts.

One good person on their own can achieve great things, solve problems, pass on knowledge and make a huge impact.

One good person supported, inspired and helped by a community will achieve more. Good people, made better.
