Description:

Healthcare Partners Ltd (HPL) is a subsidiary company of Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust (RSFT) and provides the facilities and managed services for clinical teams. This includes the maintenance of the facility, providing and maintaining equipment and providing consumables, implants and devices used during procedures. They also provide end to end procurement and supply chain functions to the Trust, and work closely with clinical teams to identify future requirements for facilities, equipment and consumables and manage their introduction.

Since the company’s inception in 2018 HPL has been able to establish itself as an important partner to the Trust, bringing experience and expertise. In addition to this, they have also been able to provide support within the wider Integrated Care System (ICS). The biggest single project has been in procurement, with centralised Wound Care for the ICS which has delivered significant system savings of £900K pa and a platform to expand both within and outside the Trust.

They are an ambitious organisation, committed to developing their capabilities and services and to continue providing improved services which deliver improved outcomes for patients and services users. HPL are now seeking to appoint a Managing Director who will help them realise these ambitions and lead the company through the next phase of its evolution.

The Managing Director of HPL will be the company’s statutory accountable officer, and a full voting member of the HPL Board. They will be responsible for business development and operational performance targets, including activity, cost improvement, service transformation, customer facing metrics, staff performance, clinical quality standards, financial targets and growth.

HPL are seeking a candidate with the ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and service users within the RSFT, the ICS, other external customers, and a wide range of suppliers, to ensure delivery of customer requirements. The successful candidate will develop innovative solutions and ensure effective communication in a complex political and stakeholder environment.

The post holder will evaluate, create and exploit opportunities within an evolving and challenging market, to grow a successful and sustainable interventional and support services business. They will lead a cohesive, high functioning team within HPL and RSFT driving Trust wide and departmental change and improvement, driving up efficiency and value.

If you have a desire to work for an ambitious and values led organisation, then they would welcome your interest and application. The Trust would particularly encourage applications from those from under-represented groups or with protected characteristics, as they are committed to improving diversity within their organisation.
