An exciting opportunity has arisen, supporting a large Healthcare organisation as a Practice Development Lead.

The role is working in London, on a full-time basis, for a minimum of 3 months.

The post holder will work closely with Service and Professional leads to ensure that the Community Mental Health Services meets the needs of the local residents, as set out in the NHS long term plan.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of high-quality place-based care;
  • Provide expertise and training in a range of areas;
  • Work closely with the Head of Nursing and Community Service Leads to ensure the care and treatment provided across all Community Services is of the highest standard;
  • Work closely with Community Service and Professional Leads to support and ensure there are robust systems of governance in place in Community Mental Health Teams and that high quality client led services are being developed and delivered;
  • Work alongside Team Managers and Professional Leads to ensure CQC compliance and effective clinical governance;
  • Ensure the implementation of local and national clinical governance initiatives;
  • Apply and improve clinical governance and risk management system;
  • Participate in the maintenance of quality governance systems and processes across the organisation;
  • Lead on projects to improve service delivery and patient experience;
  • Demonstrate effective behaviours and provide clear direction whilst promoting and developing a positive, motivated, and engaged team culture and ethos across a range of different services.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Must be a registered nurse, with current NMC registration;
  • Significant experience working within the NHS, or other Healthcare organisation;
  • A registration as a Mental Health Nurse is desirable;
  • Professional Occupational Health or Social Worker registration;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead by example.
