I'm working in partnership with an NHS organisation in the West Midlands who are seeking an interim Health and Safety Manager who can support them across Health and Safety for at least the next 3 months.
This role will support them by providing specialist advice on Health and Safety at all levels of the Trust as you will be a key lead for Trust-wide strategic and operational management of non-clinical risk and safety services including the Local Security Management Specialist. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of effective and pragmatic policy and frameworks and a robust and effective Business Continuity Strategy as you work to ensure that they fulfil the Trusts statutory duties and comply with other relevant legislation and guidance.
With a mix of onsite and remote working and your choice of either 4 days per week or full time; flexibility is on offer!
To be considered for this Inside IR35 role it is essential that you possess:
-Relevant professional qualifications in Health and Safety: eg NEBOSH -Diploma/NCRQ Diploma/NVQ L5 In Health and Safety
-Membership of Professional Body for Health and Safety eg IOSH or IIRSM
-Experience of working with the NHS and within a similar health and safety and security position
Experience of working in an Emergency preparedness role and familiarity with policy development and auditing would be advantageous.
