London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust

Chief Executive

Salary: Competitive

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) is one of the largest and busiest NHS Trusts in London. Our team of 8,000 staff serve one of the most diverse populations in the UK, providing hospital services to over one million people living in Brent, Ealing, Harrow and Beyond. With four main major acute hospital sites, we are a university teaching NHS Trust, training the clinicians of the future and combining this with cutting edge research, all of which helps to improve patient care.

Part of the North West London ICS, we have now agreed to appoint a single chair for the four acute Trusts across the region – Chelsea and Westminster NHS FT, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Hillingdon Hospitals NHS FT, and ourselves, creating a group structure. This will build on the already established close partnership working between our local organisations, having established a joint acute care board earlier this year, and will help solidify our existing partnerships and the innovation seen during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Our vision at LNWH is to provide excellent clinical care in the right setting for all our patients, putting them at the HEART of everything we do. We are passionate about our HEART values of Honesty, Equality, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork, and we are hoping to find someone who embodies all of them to lead us as our new Chief Executive.

We are looking for an experienced CEO who can match our ambitions for our patients and staff, someone who is able to engage and empower our staff to achieve outstanding outcomes for our communities. We want to be in the top 25% of Trusts nationally across a range of areas, and whilst we recognise that this will take time to achieve, we are looking for someone with the passion and drive to help us get there. The role will work closely with the ICS and our newly appointed joint Chair, helping to build and develop our partnerships across the region.

If you can see yourself reflected in our values and ambitions, we would love to hear from you. Please click on Apply for more details, or contact Melanie Shearer or Jim Canning at GatenbySanderson on 07384 113 158.
