Interim Theatre Manager

My client is a leading independent healthcare provider specialising in the provision of wide-ranging healthcare services.

My client has an interesting opportunity for an experienced Interim Theatre Manager to join the team and help improve quality and team cohesion. This assignment will suit someone used to galvanising and leading teams - someone who can win hearts and minds. This is a busy theatre department covering inpatient and day case surgery, therefore experience of both would be advantageous.

You will be used to managing a busy team who need some reassurance but also an improved sense of direction. Other responsibilities include the day to day running of the department including governance reporting, Consultant relations, ensuring SIs are reported and any incidents are learned from and that regular audits within the operating department are undertaken.

A background in theatre management is expected, although someone who has managed theatres as well as wider clinical services could work, if your team leadership qualities fit my client's needs.
