Job Details
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide effective, visible clinical and professional leadership for nursing staff in the division for which they are responsible;
- Support the Matrons and Ward managers to deliver the agreed nursing quality performance indicators to monitor trends and impact on patient experience;
- Work collaboratively across all sites with Divisional teams and Senior Nursing colleagues to promote and enhance patient and staff experience;
- Deputise for the SMT to ensure divisional compliance and delivery of the patient safety, clinical effectiveness and patient experience agenda.
- Current NMC registration with active pin;
- Significant acute/medicine base nursing leadership experience;
- Ability to analyse complex problems and to develop practical and workable solutions to address them;
- Awareness of developments in the NHS and clinical service delivery.
