Interim BAME Programme Project Manager

Woodrow Mercer is looking to appoint an Interim BAME Programme Project Manager for an NHS organisation.

BAME Programme Project Manager. Key deliverables will be:

• Oversee the Population and Workforce Workstreams of the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Disparity Programme including Health Inequalities and be responsible for project managing and coordinating the delivery, monitoring and reporting of activity within this.
• This includes developing and maintaining project documents such as project plans, milestones, risk and issues log as well as report writing and Board coordination for the BAMW workforce Steering Group as well as the Turning the Tide Transformation Oversight Board.
• You will play a vital role to help the ICS to understand the shared and lived experience of our BAME staff and populations particularly where inequalities exist including as observed via data analysis, community insights and through reaching out to seldom heard voices.
• Working with our system partners including trusted intermediaries, you will help the organisation understand the inequities and the challenges faced by many of our BAME colleagues in terms of representation in the workforce and at higher band roles above and below board level

The position is mostly remote with occasional onsite. ASAP start, 5 months initially. Day rates negotiable.
