An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Corporate Risk Manager on an interim basis for 6 months initially. The post will be working in the West Midlands with some flexibility for remote working. Dependent on experience the post will be working on a band 7 – 8a inside IR35 (through an umbrella solution). The post holder will be responsible for administration of all aspects under the remit of the Risk Management and Risk Registers.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting Incident reporting, incident investigation, Serious Incidents, Concise Investigations, Duty of Candour and Risk Registers;
  • Keeping the Risk Management Databases always updated;
  • Development and implementation of risk management strategies, policies, and processes to ensure requirements are met;
  • Oversee the co-ordination of the Board Assurance Framework;
  • Advise colleagues within the organisation on all matters relating to Risk Management;
  • Ensure effective frameworks and processes are in place and regularly evaluated, in respect to risk management;
  • Implementing, facilitating and promoting efficient and effective risk management, providing training, guidance and support.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Must have experience within the NHS/Healthcare setting;
  • Expertise in Corporate and Clinical Governance within Risk Management;
  • Evidence of leading and delivering quality service improvements.
