Job Details

We're working with a large NHS Health Board in South Wales who are looking to engage a senior operational manager across Urgent Care for the next 6 to 12 months.

This role will see you at the front line of delivery of Urgent Care at a large Acute Trust over winter and you will be responsible for steering emergency care through periods of pressure and change. Additionally you will be supporting the team through a period of implementation of service redesign as the Health Board moves towards ever closer integration across health and social care.

We're seeking applications from experienced Acute/Emergency Care Operational Managers who can motivate the team throughout challenging times whilst simultaneously support the delivery of improvements.

You will have a track record in Urgent Care leadership including winter preparedness and delivery at large Acute Trust level and be adept at working to achieve financial balance whilst improving Emergency Care access targets

If you are a highly motivated leader who thrives in a fast paced environment this is a fantastic opportunity to support the long term integration aims of the people of south Wales.

Inside IR35, this is a 6 month initial contract with a strong possibility of an extension of another 6 months.
