The company offer experienced and expert advisory services and programme management to the NHS in the fields of:

  • Elective Care Recovery & Management Consulting – Cancer, Diagnostics and Referral to treatment waiting list support.
  • Data Quality Transformation – specialising in understanding and improving data for clients.
  • Digital Transformation – supporting clients in transforming operational and manual processes into efficient automated digital processes.
  • The goal in any project delivered by our client is to build teams, systems, and processes that are sustainable and continue to deliver improvement into the future.

 

As a Principal Consultant, you will have a focus on.

  • Supporting clients to create and deliver successful elective care improvement projects and programmes based on industry best practice and personal expertise across multiple organisations.
  • Using clear and sustainable methodologies and frameworks, to successfully manage the delivery of client projects, in line with objectives and expectations, with patient safety at the forefront.
  • Using solutions-driven leadership, to make the firm more effective in its interventions through process design and delivering operational improvement initiatives.
  • Providing day-to-day management, advice, coaching, and guidance to the consultant team as required.
  • Generating ideas for business development to help the company continue to grow at pace.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the end-to-end delivery of client programmes consisting of multiple projects, ensuring client and programme deliverables are met.
  • Align the strategy with operations through the clear management of project teams.
  • Draft robust programme and project plans, to include key milestones/delivery points.
  • Design and deliver performance and operational improvement initiatives which have large-scale applications within the NHS.
  • Develop new and existing client relationships and secure new consulting projects.
  • Support the Managing Director with developing new ideas based on market and industry trends. Coach and inspire the team to embrace improvement methodologies, share knowledge, become outcome-based, and surpass challenging performance targets.

 

Experience, knowledge, and skills required to make a successful application.

  • Significant background in NHS elective care.
  • Proven experience of running multiple complex recovery programmes.
  • Experience of business development and long-term client relationship management.
  • In-depth understanding of NHS systems and the procurement process.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of elective care management and delivery.
  • Ability to diagnose problems based on expertise in field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dive into detail, provide commercial analyses, understand issues, identify insights, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced skills with business intelligence software, including an ability to build and interrogate data models.
