NHS Head of Medical Staffing - Design this function from the ground up!

Practicus are partnering with a London based NHS organisation who are urgently seeking a Head of Medical Staffing to provide leadership and design the service from the ground up.

Purpose - You will use your skills as a seasoned Medical Staffing Manager / HR Consultant to ensure this medical staffing team has the leadership, systems and processes to deliver a first-class service.

The Difference is that you have a blank canvass to use your experience and expertise to design and implement the processes and systems from scratch, taking them from a service that is not working effectively to a service to be proud of. This is much more than a BAU role and an opportunity to use your experience to deliver a solution that would have a large impact. One of the big benefits that will result from your work will be that the Trust could hire the right medical workforce skills and the right time which will have a positive effect on the care that patients receive. Your work would also provide them with transparency across processes, systems and provide a financial benefit for the Trust which will help improve services in other areas.

The role is both interesting and challenging because as well as implementing the systems and processes, there will also be an opportunity to develop the team and solve some of the medical staffing problems across several divisions. All of this will result in a happier and more productive HR and Medical teams which will result in better patient services.

To deliver this we require an experienced HR Medical Staffing Manager with both the leadership skills and knowledge on how to best set up an effective medical staffing service.

Experience:
* HR Leadership experience gained within an NHS Medical Staffing Service
* Knowledge of what good looks like in terms of Systems and Processes in a Medical Staffing function
* Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate with both clinical and non-clinical staff at any level.
* Experience of employee relations would be desirable.
* Passionate about your work and can inspire others.

RATE: £42.34 per hour, onsite 2 days a week, 3 days remote
LENGTH: 3 - 6 months initially
START: November 2021
