Deputy Director of Strategy 8d

An NHS Trust is looking to recruit a Deputy Director of Strategy to play an integral role in executing a recently refreshed Trust-wide strategy.  As the Deputy Director you will be responsible for mobilising and running multiple, large scale programmes simultaneously, blending your problem solving sills in the early phase with your implementation skills needed to move from design to delivery.

A key focus of this role will be to lead on the overall planning and strategy development process for the Trust, including developing the capability of the organisation to develop robust plans, monitoring and evaluation processes that will deliver the NHS Long Term Plan, the ICSs’ priorities, and the organisation’s and divisions’ strategic priorities.

You will be responsible for the development of annual plans to deliver Trust and national targets, liaising as necessary with internal parties and external stakeholders.

You will ensure the Trust continues to develop strategic relationships with other partners and stakeholders including health providers, commissioners, local authorities and academic institutions.
