Band 7 - BANK SONOGRAPHER HOURS

Hours are available and negotiable at any of our five sites across Leeds.

We are looking to offer an opportunity to sonographers holding either the post graduate certificate or diploma qualifications in medical Ultrasound.

If you are someone who is looking for something different and wanting to try a different place to work without fully committing then this could be the opportunity for you.

You will join a friendly and supportive team where you will participate in developing and delivering a high quality ultrasound service.

We aim to provide the opportunity to gain further experience in a wide range of examinations, including General Medical, Obstetric, Gynaecological, Small Parts, MSK and Vascular.

Ideally you will have the flexibility to work across the whole of the organisation to be deployed where service demand requires. Having your own transport is advantageous but not essential.

There will no commitment to participate in weekend ultrasound service unless agreed at interview.

All applicants must be registered with the HPC and hold a DMU or PG Diploma in Medical Ultrasound and be qualified in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and General Medical Ultrasound. Other Post Graduate Diplomas are also considered but not essential.

Current FMF accreditation for Nuchal Translucency scanning is advantageous but not essential, as hands on training will be given.

The post will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure. We are an equal opportunities employer.
