Job Details

Reporting to the Divisional Deputy COO's across Unplanned and Planned care, you, and the team you work with will be of critical importance to enable the trust to resolve a variety of issues related to UEC flow, bed management, elective recovery, LOS, DTOC and discharge.

Whilst acting at a Band 9 level these roles will be separate to the current GM's / Site Manager posts and not directly involved in managing the day to day operations.

Flexible rota that covers the 7 day working week

12 hour working shifts of between 2 - 4 days a week

On-site - East of England base

Excellent equivalent daily rate of £790 per day Inside IR35.

6 month contract starting ideally December but no later than Mid-January 2022.

You will have real purpose to what you do - this is not about improving a single area but making a real difference to the trust's patients and staff at every level. You will take a "Helicopter" viewpoint to review, guide and support the teams to fundamentally change how, from an end to end perspective patient flows are dealt with.

Patient safety and quality agendas need to be at the forefront of everything they do - most importantly you will allow them to plan rather than react to the pressures the trust is encountering.

These posts will make a real impact and difference to the way the trust is run, the focus is not just on UEC but more importantly on improving quality of care, helping create capacity for the trust to manage elective recovery whilst also support their partners such as the ambulance trust by improving ambulance turnaround.

They are stretched already; they need to plan to build capacity into local system, your work will also feed into the longer term post CV19 elective recovery development plans to tackle not just the short term but also long term operational challenges that the trust is facing.

With short listing taking place no later than Monday November 22nd and interview slots in the diary for next week I would love to hear from you as these are urgent roles that need to be filled ASAP.

Please call me on 07798521434 and send a copy of your CV to mark.payne@practicus.com
