An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Project Manager for Patient Flow, for up to 3 months in the first instance.

Candidates must have experience in managing patient flow projects within the NHS.

The role will be inside IR35 and will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at a competitive rate.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead on PMO processes, reporting, programme oversight and assurance across multiple workstreams;
  • Work closely with the programme and project leads for each of the key areas to bring together plans to support the organisation in delivering its objectives;
  • Meet with work stream leads to facilitate progress against their actions, and track and monitor their delivery;
  • Support on embedding routine project/programme methodology for delivery of all work plans, in line with the existing organisational methodology;
  • Embed implementation planning processes in line with internal and external stakeholder requirements;
  • Develop programme documentation and provide regular updates and reports to key stakeholders;
  • Maximise successful programme delivery by proactively managing key issues and barriers to delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Degree qualification or equivalent level of experience;
  • Significant experience of managing patient flow projects within the NHS.
