Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) provides NHS services throughout a person’s life, in physical and mental health and everything in between, at GPs and hospitals to the community and in their own home.  Rated Good overall by the CQC, we are the one of the largest providers of mental health and community care in England, with an annual income in 2020/21 of £620m and nearly 8,000 staff providing services to a population of around three million in the South East of England. 

The majority of our services are provided in the community.  Where community care is not possible we offer a number of facilities to treat people in hospital or residential environments. We also provide healthcare in prisons in London and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to support us as we move forward on this journey.  With a proven track record of leading a Mental Health or Community service and of delivering major service and organisational change, the appointed individual will working across the organisation to enable the continued focus on quality and safety in all areas of our operations and build confidence internally and externally by ensuring robust systems are in place to achieve performance targets.  With a demonstrable commitment to the development and provision of high quality, responsive and relevant services, the successful candidate will be committed to working inclusively and in genuine collaboration with service users, staff and across our system partners to provide services that meet the needs of the people who use them.  Above all else, we are seeking an individual who embodies our values and is fully committed to supporting our staff to achieve our priorities.
