Pathology Operations Director

Practicus are partnering with an NHS organisation who are urgently seeking Pathology Operations Director.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be accountable for leading and managing delivery and development of Pathology Services. You will ensure high quality of patient care, operational quality and provide strategic direction by displaying compassionate leadership during this pandemic.

You will be working closely with senior board members in ensuring that the clinical and business success is manged through departments are staffed and managed effectively. Responsible for establishing and maintaining string and effective partnerships and stakeholder relationships across local, regional, and national networks.

As the interim you will provide continuous improvement of service delivery and quality within all areas of Pathology.

The challenge will be maintaining a solid workforce during COVID, but also leading on several transformation projects.

• Senior Level experience of operational management in Pathology services
• Leading on major transformational change
• Delivering continuous quality improvement

• Working in complex and challenging healthcare environments
• Day rate :£70.67 per hour - Inside IR35
• Duration :3 months initially / mid-Feb or 1st March start
• Process : Interviews TBC
• Remote working, 2-3 days on-site once guidance allows
