This job holder will be the system lead responsible for reporting progress on and ensuring plans are in place to deliver national and local performance standards. This is a key role in decision making in relation to the use of ICB resources, leading key elements of the delivery of the ICB/ICS financial efficiencies programme across the contracting and procurement functions and elective care programmes. This is a joint post between the ICB and NHSEI where the portfolio contains the following key elements:
- Performance management.
- Operational planning.
- Planned care and elective recovery.
- Contracting (with a wide range of both NHS and non-NHS providers).
- Procurement programme (including joint procurements with other partners).
