Interim Urgent Care Director

The client is looking for someone who can bring their experience and knowledge to the table to create a sustainable strategic plan for the future. Knowledge of and experience in urgent care performance metrics is essential for the delivery of this role. Over the past 18 months the system has introduced various measures and operational changes to support the urgent care system, now it is time to review these, pull together some impact analysis on how they have performed and develop the strategic plan which will include a financial sustainability plan. In addition, you will provide hands on operational support and direction as needed.

The successful interim will have both a strategic commissioning background and knowledge of acute operations within Urgent Care. A proven track record of developing sustainable strategic plans with sustainable financial plans attached is essential to the role. It is equally important to note the interim will bring excellent organisational skills, people skills, and be able to work in very fast paced and pressured environments. Finally, you will be required to be on site a min of 2 days per week.

This role will be interesting and challenging alike, every day will bring a new challenge and opportunity. You will work within the ICS structure in partnership with the system executives to create and implement a strategic plan. The ability to engage, build quick relationships and provide credible advice and direction will make a huge difference to this system.
