Job Details

We are working with an Private Healthcare organisation in the South Central location who are looking to appoint an Interim Theatres Manager.

The post holder will be expected to strategically plan the delivery of patient safe clinical care provision of the Theatre service, in line with organisation’s needs.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community;
  • Lead the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect, and dignity;
  • Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient;
  • Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are
  • concerns about care;
  • Provide leadership and development by ensuring the use of evidence-based practice and clinical standards;
  • Inform SMT to any operational or governance issues within the theatre department, to allow any further action to be taken;
  • Ensure that the needs of patients and their carers are at the core of the way that Circle Health Group delivers its clinical services;
  • Ensure high standards of governance, including the assessment, quantification, and management of risk;
  • Ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained to promote and safeguard the well–being and interests of patients, employees, and visitors;
  • Daily visible leadership and management of the department by always managing direct reports in line with HR Policies and Procedures.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration;
  • Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially;
  • Degree educated or equivalent;
  • Significant experience working in an acute hospital setting as a Senior Registered Practitioner or equivalent;
  • Good team worker.
