Associate Director of Midwifery

Practicus are partnering with an NHS organisation who are urgently seeking Interim Band 8d Associate Director of Midwifery

This is a critical role to help working with the Divisional Director and Director of Nursing to ensure safe high quality maternity care. The Associate Director of Midwifery is responsible for assuring professional standards and practice in all aspects of nursing /midwifery and AHP's practice are achieved, including adherence to statutory regulations

Ensure visibility of the role in the clinical areas through patient safety walk rounds and engagement with front line staff reviewing quality indicators / performance. Identify and mitigate quality and safety gaps.

Essential:

• Registered midwife
• Operational experience in managing teams, ability to think strategically and tactically
• Confident in working with a wide range of stakeholders
• RATE: Band 8d - £59.98 per hour - Inside IR35 - hybrid working on offer

• DURATION: 4 months
• START: ASAP
