Our client is looking to recruit an Interim Cancer pathway manager to complete a 3 month contract that will be in support of the Divisional Senior Management Team (Clinical Director, Head of Nursing, and Divisional General Manager) in the efficient and effective operational management of your respective service/s in order to deliver continually improving, high quality patient care.

The primary focus will be reducing wait times, service management, pathway tracking, staff management, budget management, Monitoring communications to clinical teams, primary care, patients and their relatives and Internal and external organisations.

Your work around pathway supervision will involve Reviewing and ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures are relevant and adhered to by all administrative staff within the administrative team. You will also Develop a system of validation of patient pathways with the administrative team to ensure that all patient pathways can be uploaded nationally with as few errors as possible, contributing to improving data quality within the team.

As part of the project, you will also need to identify and coordinate the management of bank staff according to service needs and manage this within budgetary guidelines, to be reviewed on a regular basis within the Divisional General Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in clinical wards, giving you more opportunities to complete projects of this nature in future.
