CNTW are seeking to recruit an exceptional candidate for the role of Executive Director of Finance. It is a challenging time to join us here at CNTW as we continue to do our best to develop and invest in our services as well as our staff at the same time as dealing with the unprecedented challenges of increased demand, staffing and financial pressures. It is a period of significant change in mental health, disability and autism services across the health and social care system and we are looking for someone to join our team with a commitment to system-wide, collaborative approach to service delivery including Primary Care and the Voluntary and Community Sector.

Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria

  • Educated to degree level / or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Professionally qualified CCAB Accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience.

Experience Essential criteria

  • Evidence of continual professional and / or managerial development. Experience of working at board level for at least 1 year.
  • Experience of successfully building effective relationships and networks across a wide range of organisations and professions.
  • Up to date knowledge of professional accounting standards and corporate governance and assurance standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.

Skills Essential criteria

  • Team player able to work flexibly and contribute to the wider aims of the organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Resilient and the ability to maintain performance under pressure. Must be able to fulfil the mobility requirements of the post.
