Job Details
Candidates must have proven leadership and programme management skills with a background in digital projects and clinical stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a programme of works to ensure transformation of digital care pathways in GP Practices and the community with an emphasis on clinical safety and quality;
- Managing the Department or Directorate and the team to ensure that workstream and programmes are planned and carried out effectively;
- Overseeing the delivery of diverse project portfolio using evidence-based approaches and models to ensure the best outcomes;
- Ensuring the provision of an efficient, effective, and high quality professional and well-co-ordinated procurement and contract management service;
- Developing and implementing qualitative and quantitative measures to determine performance against the organisational strategy;
- Leading large scale procurements of new technologies.
- Leadership and programme management skills with a background in digital projects and clinical stakeholder engagement;
- Knowledge regarding the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this on engagement;
- An understanding of the relationship between the Department of Health, NHS England and NHS Improvement and individual provider and commissioning organisations;
- Evidence of being responsible for a budget, involved in budget setting and working knowledge of financial processes;
- An ability to persuade board and senior managers of the respective merits of different options, innovation and new market opportunities;
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills.
