Private Healthcare Organisation - Hertfordshire Based Client

Woodrow Mercer have been approached by Private Healthcare Organisation based in Hertfordshire to source a Patient Safety and Risk Lead on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Head of Integrated Risk and Quality, our client is looking for someone who has experience within the patient safety field from either a private or NHS background. The postholder will need to be able to travel to Hertfordshire and be present on-site to not only act upon certain activities within the role but also make an impact on their surrounding colleagues.

Our client is looking for someone that is not only very knowledgeable within Patient Safety, but also someone who is very people focused. They also looking for someone who can reciprocate these behaviors and wants someone who is willing to go that extra mile.

Required Experience / Responsibilities:

• To have experience using the Datix system
• Responsible for looking at risk across the Hospital
• Supporting the Governance team with anything Risk related
• Sharing Clinical Risk Meetings and to have these on a weekly basis
• Serious Investigations (SI) experience using Root cause-analysis theory (RCA)

Desirable Skills / Experience:

• Someone with a Clinical background would be preferred by our client
• Our client would like someone with knowledge within PSIRF (upcoming national patient safety framework)
• Ability to travel on-site
