Thank you for your interest in becoming Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

I am looking for a finance leader who can demonstrate commitment to improvement. An enthusiastic, positive attitude and approach to work is essential, as is a determination to drive value for patients and taxpayers.

If you are a team player who can demonstrate excellent personal qualities such as integrity, self-awareness & self-management, compassion & care and resilience then this could be the perfect role for you.

The role will work with me to ensure that the Trust has the financial support, advice and challenge required to achieve, or exceed, its goals. This will be a highly visible position within the hospital, working as part of the Senior Leadership Team along with the Clinical Chairs, Divisional General Managers and other senior managers within the Trust.

If you want to join a team that has already achieved a huge amount but also has its best times ahead of it, please contact me directly for a conversation richard.mills1@nhs.net

We have a stable leadership team, a clear sense of direction and we are working very closely with our health and local authority partners in the Mid Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), to deliver a better future for the population we serve. Our staff and volunteers strive to ensure patients are at the centre of our decision making.

At SFH we value our staff.  We know happy, well supported staff provide high quality care to patients. We want all patients to receive the level of care we expect our friends and family to receive and we are making progress with this aim. We have the highest staff engagement scores across the Midlands and in 2018, the Care Quality Commission assessed us as Good Overall and Outstanding for the Care we provide.

We offer a growing range of staff benefits, excellent training facilities and a modern, well equipped working environment. We are committed to supporting colleagues to maximise their potential and enjoy satisfying careers, underpinned by our staff health and wellbeing strategy; ‘Happy, Healthy, Here’.
