Job Details
This is an interim role that falls under the Workforce Alliance Framework and should be expected to be remunerated at Band 9 c£550 a day dependant on experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide operational and strategic leadership across the Division;
- Responsible and accountable for the delivery of all clinical and technical services within the Division;
- Holds Trust-wide responsibility for the strategy and policy;
- Take a lead role in service improvement and development, implementing change to ensure key corporate, national and local targets are achieved within agreed timescales;
- Contribute to the Trust’s service strategy and lead the local Women and Children’s Health strategies and service transformation within the Division;
- Lead and coordinate achievement of all Divisional objectives ensuring relevance to local and national priorities;
- Ensure the implementation of effective and appropriate performance management systems and processes to ensure delivery of performance targets;
- Responsible for management of all budgets within the Division;
- Ensure organisational procedures are deployed across the Division for control of activities against budget.
The ideal candidate will have:
- First Degree or equivalent experience
- Specialist knowledge acquired through Master’s degree or equivalent experience;
- Strong and credible track record of leadership across Womens and Children’s services;
- Demonstratable experience working in a similar level within an NHS Acute Trust provider setting at Band 9 or over;
- Proven track record of leadership, managing redesign, organisational change, service activity and service reconfiguration within a large and complex organisation.
