Director of Nursing MHLD

Woodrow Mercer are working with a large NHS organisation based in the North who are currently looking to appoint a Director of Nursing for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities. 

This role is an Inside IR35 contract with hybrid working.  

The Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurse Director will provide and take responsibility for Nursing and Allied Health Professionals leadership, building, motivating and developing a team of clinicians, to drive forward service transformation across mental health and learning disability services. 

They will hold responsibility jointly with other members of the Mental Health  & Learning Disability team for the strategic direction, and operational delivery of services.

The post holder will be a core member of the senior management team.

Key responsibilities will be to challenge, support, manage and develop the delivery of care systems across mental health and learning disability services.

Ensuring high levels of clinical and staff engagement that are outcomes focused, developing and implementing robust systems for performance and financial management with patient safety and quality governance.
