We have a great opportunity for an experienced leader to join the Northern Care Alliance (NCA) leading the team in the Bury Care Organisation (BCO) as Chief Officer/ Director of Operations.

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) brings together staff and services from Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. Our Care Organisations are designed to operate within a group arrangement of hospitals, community, and healthcare services. Together they manage and are responsible for the day-to-day running of their hospital and community services, ensuring the safe delivery of high-quality care at scale. BCO plays a key role within the Bury community, delivering medical and surgical care to a local community of c. 190,000 people and is rated as outstanding by the CQC.

As Chief Officer for BCO you will be a key member of the NCA Board and Bury senior leadership team and will also hold a professional portfolio as Director of Operations. You will have responsibility for working with our Care Organisation Directors/Place based leaders and operational teams to ensure timely and high-quality care to patients, contributing to the delivery of our annual plan objectives, national standards and place based plans.

You will provide vision, inspiration and professional leadership to directors and operational teams, promoting excellence in all areas of service delivery.  You will work in tandem with other NCA Care Organisation Directors, Chief Officers and clinical teams to support the development of quality patient pathways and new innovative models of care that are highly performing and are grounded in our focus on place based integrated care.

You will be an experienced senior leader/ Operations Director, ready to bring your passion and energy to this fantastic role.  You will have experience of working across systems and leading change and are able to demonstrate your ability to take teams with you in challenging circumstances.  But most of all you will bring your confidence, kindness, integrity and flexibility, role modelling the behaviours we want to see across the organisation.

We actively encourage applications from individuals who will bring a diverse perspective to our senior leadership team.
