Doncaster & Bassetlaw NHS FT provides the full range of local hospital services and provide some community and specialist tertiary services, including vascular surgery. We serve a population of more than 420,000 across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, and the surrounding areas through three main hospital sites with a small community site at Retford. We are also a teaching hospital operating within the Yorkshire region, working closely with the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University.

We have a great opportunity for a new Chief Nurse Officer to join our Board.  As a key member of our executive team, you will be an inspirational leader and have responsibility for ensuring everything we do as an organisation is safe, sustainable, efficient, and effective. You will provide vision and professional leadership to nurses, midwives, and Allied Health Professionals, promoting excellence in all areas of clinical practice and patient care, ensuring that quality and patient safety is at the heart of everything we do and that our people are able to Develop, Belong and Thrive, Here in our organisation.

As an experienced Deputy or existing Director of Nursing, you will be ready to bring your passion and energy to inspire and lead our talented and committed workforce.  Working across systems, leading change and being able to demonstrate your ability to take teams with you in challenging circumstances.  You will be capable of being both a skilled leader and board colleague who will role model and support positive and mutually respectful relationships at all levels of the organisation, championing inclusion and equality of opportunity
