Deputy Theatre Manager – Watford

Salary - £50,000 + Benefits Package

Woodrow Mercer are on the search for an experienced Deputy Theatre Manager on behalf of an independent hospital group to deal with the day to day operational delivery of their private clinical theatres on a full-time, permanent basis.

Being based in Watford the client can provide an ease of accessibility to their newly refurbished hospital-based premises whereby the successful applicant for this role will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Theatre Manager, leading their skilled team to improve the overall treatment and service that the service provides.

Some of the main characteristics that we are looking for from applicants is the ability to be able to provide a hands-on approach to implementing change within the hospital where long standing processes have been in place, demonstrating leadership ability with the compassion to communicate with the team effectively, with justifiable evidence for your decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• You will be expected to demonstrate leadership skills and lead a large team clinically through day to day tasks You will be expected to complete clinical duties on a regular basis Deputising for the theatre manager when appropriate Opportunities to take on extra responsibilities’ dependant on your passion Acting as a role model to your team and offering support as and when needed

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive NHS or Private Healthcare background within Theatre Management Be able to start within 2-3 months Professional NMC or HCPC registration Ability to travel on site full-time.
