An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Associate Director of Resourcing, for 6 months in the first instance.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Interpreting national policy and translating this locally, providing specialist advice to senior stakeholders;
  • Acting as a senior advisor on all medical resourcing and medical workforce related matters;
  • Ensuring that comprehensive information about the medical workforce is accessible, accurate and responds to service, legal and external requirements;
  • Supplying and analyse information regarding resourcing issues taking account of the regional and national context, developing and delivering local responses;
  • Ensuring that HR colleagues are educated, informed and involved in workforce resourcing strategy/development projects and work streams;
  • Acting as the professional lead on workforce resourcing projects, adopting a project management approach to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of change;
  • Working in partnership with colleagues to drive the resourcing talent agenda across the organisation with key projects regarding attraction and recruitment, delivering robust, value for money outcomes whilst being customer and values led;
  • Driving continuous improvement of resourcing processes and practices;
  • Developing a suite of regular reports in relation to resourcing performance and activity, identifying trends regarding hard to recruit areas/low response rates for posts;
  • Ensuring that all temporary and permanent recruitment remains legally and ethically compliant.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Extensive experience of working in the NHS with specific experience aligned to recruitment and resourcing;
  • Proven experience of leading and developing resourcing services including Medical Staffing;
  • Experience of managing large budgets and groups of staff effectively.
