Interim Head of Risk – Band 8a

Remote-Based Position - £300 - £320 per day

Woodrow Mercer has been approached by an NHS Organisation to source an interim Band 8a Head of Risk to support the corporate quality team, with overseeing the risk function for the organisation for a period of 6 months

This role is a full-time position which will include remote working

Job Description

Working with the CNO & Patient Safety Manager, the post holder will be responsible for maintaining the current format & governance of the organisations risk register.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about risk management to take a strategic and operational lead in ensuring that the Risk Management framework is fully integrated into day to day operational management within the Trust.

This role also heavily involves management and maintenance of the Board Assurance Framework (BAF) aswell as the organisations corporate risk register

Required Skills / Experience:

• Current experience working in the NHS or Private Healthcare Senior Management exepreince in NHS or similar complex organisation Worked at a Band 8a level in corporate risk Previous Team Management experience Experience with complaints & RCA investigations

Desirable Skills / Experience:

• Understanding of current NHS strategy 3-5 years in an organisational RM role
