We are looking for a collaborative and pro-active individual who can lead and support the delivery of workforce transformation initiatives and play a key role in leading the design, development and implementation of a workforce planning framework for the organisation.
The postholder will work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Trust has an effective live workforce planning framework in place which will help inform strategic and operational workforce supply programmes, such as talent management and succession planning, apprenticeship development, new roles and organisational learning needs analysis.

Main duties of the job
You may have experience in HR, L&D, OD and/or business/workforce planning, modelling whereby skills and experience can be applied into this role.
You will develop and lead workforce transformation and improvement projects across the organisation based on professional and clinical groups which are aligned to the Trust’s strategic plan and priorities and the NHS People Plan.
Actively contribute to the delivery of the Trust’s plans and priorities by providing expert advice in relation to workforce transformation and planning, including undertaking quality, efficiency and cost improvement projects and supporting service redesign.
Contribute and take a lead role in the strategic planning of workforce transformation and planning projects, identifying interdependencies cross projects/functions, potential impacts on the wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary.
You will be working with service leads and HRBPs in the development of workforce plans and transformational initiatives, linking back to the strategic plan and overall ICS workforce plans.
Promote and embed a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the directorate and organisation.
To work collaboratively within the Dorset Integrated Care system to create new ways of achieving a high-quality health and care workforce.
