We are looking for three highly motivated, innovative Clinical Mangers to join the vaccination team. This role will include delivering management supervision, managing staffing, appraisals, liaison with other services, being involved in clinical decision making, service improvement and supporting the Matron. It offers a variety of different challenges with no day in the office being the same.
The three posts are allocated into East Dorset at Kings Park Unit Vaccination Centre, Bournemouth; West Dorset Peripatetic team predominantly in Weymouth (Linden), Bridport (Langdon) and other sites as identified in West Dorset; The East Dorset Peripatetic Team covering East Dorset and including Blandford and Verwood. The Peripatetic team's work includes providing vaccinations to housebound, care homes, pop ups and more remote areas and communities. Please note that occasional cross cover will be required between postholders as does a car and driver's licence within the parameters of the equality act.
We are looking for team members who are well organised, have effective communication skills, good at problem-solving and can encourage and positively influence the team. They need to have confidence in leadership and at times will need to cover when the Matron is away.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality person centred services with a focus on integrated care which always considers people’s safety, privacy and dignity.
Day-to-day management and leadership of a clinical team.
To act as a champion for clinical standards and for continuous improvement in the service user experience.
To ensure the delivery of up to date evidence based practice.
Contribute to the planning and design of services in line with Trust, locality and government objectives to meet the needs of local people.
