Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an exceptional leader as our Divisional Director for Primary Care and Community Services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the health and wellbeing of the population in one of the largest Health Boards in Wales. We are a value based organisation with a track record of providing high quality care across community and primary care services.
As the Divisional Director you will play a pivotal role in shaping Primary Care and Community services. Transformation programmes include the development of place based Neighbourhood Care Networks (NCNs), the re-design of services for Older People and Primary Care sustainability.
This is a key strategic and operational role, providing visible leadership and delivery of objectives with the aim of securing patient focused, effective, efficient and sustainable services. The successful candidate will work with a range of stakeholders, ideally with a track record of delivering in partnership with public, statutory and third sector organisations.
We wish to appoint a compassionate and collaborative leader who is committed to delivering high quality outcomes and experience for our population. You will be equally passionate in enhancing staff experience and wellbeing.
We are seeking applications from individuals with either a clinical or managerial background who relish a challenge. The structure benefits from a triumvirate arrangement, supported by the Divisional General Manager and Divisional Nurse.
For an informal discussion about this opportunity please contact Dr Chris O’Connor, Interim Executive Director of Primary Care, Community and Mental Health at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
