Project Manager -Modular Build /PFI

Practicus is currently supporting a NHS Acute trust based in the East of England who are in the process of building a new 20 bed modular ward and need extra capacity in relation to Project Management to ensure this critical delivery.

I am therefore looking for an experienced NHS Estates / PFI Project Manager/s to support the trust with this delivery and associated work streams.

Working within a larger £10m Capital programme of work this is a close knit team where you will be able to utilise your experience in order to ensure the delivery of the modular unit with a installation completed by end of March and full fit out / go live no later than the end of June 2023.

You will need to have a proven ability to work with stakeholders internally and externally in order to communicate and engage with these often challenging groups, critical to the delivery will be your understanding of PFI contracts and all parties mutual obligations related to this.

You will also need to ensure that there are strong project and financial governance / controls in place ideally utilising Prince 2 or similar to ensure the delivery is achieved to agreed timescales.

A strong communicator you will be self sufficient and need little direct management, you will be a key member of the wider team and must be hard working and resilient.

Please note that NHS / Private Health experience of PFI's and or modular buildings is required for this post.

Banded 8b/c with a maximum hourly rate of £46 per hour

Outside IR35 for 6 months

Due to the nature of the delivery you will need to be highly visible on site circa 4 days a week with one day per week able to be worked remotely.
