We are developing an Executive Team equipped to meet the significant and complex challenges faced by all NHS Trusts, and our wider integrated care system. Our new Executive Medical Director will lead and drive forward the medical agenda to meet the changing needs of our Trust, our system and our populations.  As Lead Executive for setting standards and providing professional advice to the Board on all medical matters, you will also assure the delivery of our Clinical Plan and develop strong clinical leadership across the organisation as we seek opportunities for sustainable future workforce solutions.  With other Board members you will be responsible for our strategy, performance and good governance delivering improvement that is recognised through our staff, service users, stakeholders and regulators.

We are interested to hear from existing or aspiring Executive Medical Directors with significant leadership experience gained in an acute Mental Health and Community setting. You will have an important role to play across the system, with our partners in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, and across our Group with Northamptonshire.  Building on good working relationships with other mental health providers across the East Midlands and strong links with our local universities, as Executive Medical Director you will quickly develop and nurture these relationships; seeking opportunities for innovative collaboration and research.  A progressive and inspiring leader, you will be motivated by our dynamic environment, and will work with a supportive and committed Board focussing on continuous improvement in quality outcomes and experience for all our staff, service users and partners.
