Practicus are partnering with an NHS organisation that are urgently seeking a Director of Clinical Quality and Governance.

PURPOSE - You will use your skills as a seasoned Director of Quality and Governance to provide visible leadership and ensure the governance processes and structures are embedded into the organisation.

THE DIFFERENCE is that you will build on the good work that has already been delivered and ensure they have safe and effective services across their divisions. This role has an opportunity to greatly impact in a positive way the safety of a portfolio of services used by the local population.

THE ROLE IS BOTH INTERESTING AND CHALLENGING because you will be working across multiple divisions to ensure they are safe and effective, deploying Quality and governance strategies and ensuring the teams are engaged to embedded theses into their services. You will contribute to the journey this Trust is on to improve the health outcomes of its local community.

TO DELIVER THIS we require an experienced Senior Quality and Governance Director / Consultant with a collaborative leadership style with the ability to engage the teams to deliver better services. We are looking for someone with passion, creativity, and expertise.

EXPERIENCE:
· Proven experience gained within the NHS in a Senior Quality and Governance role, preferably worked to exec Board level in a Governance role.
· Experience in writing effective quality and governance strategies within the NHS
· Ability to engage and influence with both clinical and operational staff in a collaborative way, to ensure governance in embedded into their services
· A passion for the patient experience, journey and the safety of services they receive.
· Ability to report back performance to the leadership team.
· A qualification in Governance would be highly desirable.


BAND: NHS Band 9 - 4/5 Days
LENGTH: 4 - 6 months initially
START: February 2023
INTERVIEWS: Early February 2023
