Head of Corporate Affairs 

Here at Woodrow Mercer Healthcare Recruitment, we are currently recruiting for a  Head of corporate affairs to join the team at a London based NHS Trust 

It is an interim band 8B role which is to start ASAP for 3 months (with a view to be extended). We are seeking individuals who has proven experience of working in an NHS or healthcare organisation corporate governance at a senior level and is looking for their next interim role.

Band: 8A

Contract: 3 Months (view of extension) 

Start: ASAP

Base: Hybrid working

The Head of Corporate Affairs will manage the operation and direction of the Corporate Affairs Team and will employ their highly developed specialist knowledge of governance and risk management to deliver the highest standards of corporate governance within the Trust.

The head of corporate affairs will be responsible for the operation of the Trust’s Charity, Freedom To Speak Up and Trust membership agendas, and will be responsible for the implementation of long-term strategies in respect of these for the Trust.

Working alongside the Director of Corporate Affairs, the Head of Corporate Affairs will be liable for improving and implementing corporate policies and governance systems with the potential to impact on the whole of the organisation and wider system partners. The post holder will formulate long term strategic plans and will take a lead in developing and advising on corporate strategy, change management and business planning.
