Director of Urgent Care & Medicine

6 month contract. Hybrid working. 4 days on site. Band 9. Inside IR35 

Woodrow Mercer Healthcare are currently looking for a Director of Urgent Care and Medicine to support a trust in the West Midlands on a 6 month contract, to start at the beginning of April.  The candidate will be expected to be on-site 4 days a week, so the flexibility to travel to the West Midlands is essential. 

Job Overview:

• To lead the development and implementation of the division's strategy, including identifying opportunities for growing, improving, and re-designing services in line with Trust's objectives.
• To lead by example, actively promoting and role-modelling the behaviour and the divisional teams' vision and values. To promote a culture that is patient focussed and where high quality care is delivered according to the best available evidence.
• To monitor the delivery of emergency or acute medical care to ensure high quality, evidence based care at all times.
