General Manager - Surgery

Woodrow Mercer Healthcare are currently looking for a General Manager to support the Surgery department for a trust based in the East Midlands to start at the beginning of April. 

Initially 3 a month contract with the review to extend.

Hybrid working. Flexibility to travel to the East Midlands is essential as there is an expectancy to be on site at least 2 days a week. 

Daily rate of £450 a day Inside IR35 

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has operational experience and demonstrates strong leadership to join the team as a General Manager. The successful candidate will use their own leadership and operational experience to support the provision of high quality patient care and develop strong relationships with partners across the organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Effectively lead on service delivery, capacity planning and demand

Develop robust management of capacity, waiting lists, reporting and efficiency

Support and manage the operational aspects of the service encompassing the management of all resources and the monitoring and achievement of agreed performance objectives
